Spencer Allen killed in Bridge City Motorcycle Accident

Bridge City Police have identified a motorcyclist who died after Sunday night motorcycle accident. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 30-year-old Spencer Raygon Allen of Groves. On July 10, 2022 around 7:10 p.m., Bridge City Police were called to an accident at the intersection of FM 1442 and National Drive, according to a news release from the Bridge City Police Department.

Officers learned that the driver of a 2018 Dodge Charger failed to yield right away as he drove onto FM 1442, where he collided with a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 30-year-old Spencer Raygon Allen of Groves. Allen was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 Judge Chad Jenkins.
This crash is currently under investigation. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the release.

On July 10, 2022 around 7:10 pm., Officers responded to a fatality accident at the intersection of FM 1442 and National Drive. Upon Officers arrival, they learned the driver of a 2018 Dodge Charger, failed to yield right away, as he proceeded to drive onto FM 1442. The driver of the Dodge Charger, Gregorio Carrera, entered into the path of a 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to collide with the Charger. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 30 year old, Spencer Raygon Allen of Groves Texas. Mr. Allen was pronounced deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace, Chad Jenkins.
